Great as always! Thanks!
not too hard...nice one
Can't find the 4th piece of the key... Small hint, please? (I have the top, bottom, and the piece with the E)
Oops, never mind, I missed a view. The power of posting :)
And now I'm out :D
fun game, and I did it without hints! (Which is a first, I'm normally terrible at these!)
pff...I'm not getting all that far
I have three pieces of an express ticket or something...I think I need four.
I have 5/8 picture pieces..and I discovered there's a clue of some sort on the back...but I have no idea where to use this..
I need a key for the second cabin door. Apparently I have the clue to the 4x4 grid...but it's not like I know what that clue would be...
ARGH! is what I say..
O should add, I know where the fourth piece is (not an express ticket, but a key?)...but how to actually get it is another questions..
ok, got the 4x4 grid and the key..
=D
ok, out - hurrah!
veewee i'm stuck where you originally were, small hint??
Anonymous, for the grid, you can interact with one of pull-down shades in the hall. It should give you a clue.
Probably helps to know that there are 5 pieces of the 'key' - one you can't interact with until you find the other 4... Like Emily, I also missed a view initially - double check that you've looked everywhere...
When looking at the original cabin toward the window (purple hat on the left, cabinets on the right) there are FOUR cabinets with codes, but when I zoom into the cabinet view, I only get THREE. Am I missing a view? Or are there really only three cabinets to unlock here?
Just three
@Emily: Thanks :)
And with the "other view" hint, and Emily's confirmation that I'm not losing my mind (at least not right now), I'm out! :D
what about the cats, plz help!
You need to find the fourth cat.
Code for the 4 cats is obvious, if you are in the correct view.
Seems the tricky part of this escape is finding all the views.
HellO...
I need som help please !
Thanks
I loved this one. I fell for the "escape player fallacy" to treat everything as a potential clue and memorised the patterns of the cocktail glasses, and the wine bottles on the rack, and how far the blinds were drawn, etc. Also kept trying to pick up things I didn't need, like the swiss army knife and the pen.
For anyone really stuck, there are a number of walkthroughs around. Just do a google search for "orient express night: first station" :-)
Anonymous @ 11:51,
where are you right now?
I played this yesterday when I saw it on the Tomatea website. Finished without a hitch. Another good one!
I made it! Nice one, getting all the views is indeed the trick here.
I always do enjoy doing Tomatea puzzles. The graphics, music and overall atmosphere is always so enjoyable. This one's puzzles were not the most complicated and I was able to get through without any trouble. Nice. Thanks Bart.
For all those who have expressed trouble with the cat...
The cat statue is behind a cabinet in the second room. There are four total pieces needed to get the this room.
Two are in plan view at either end of the train and the other two are in cabinets in the first room.
The one cabinet is connected to some lighting that will give you a clue and the second is the grid puzzle.
Once you have these you will be able to do a puzzle to get a key for the second room. Once there, you should have the answer to the cat cabinet puzzle in your inventory...
Game doesn't load.....I keep just getting a big blank square.
