Yoshio Ishii just released another episode in the hoshi saga 'find the star' puzzle series. Can you find the star in each of the scenes of hoshi saga 13? This time the game doesn't use the mouse (since you can play on mobile too) but only the arrow keys and the return key. (to start press the return key)
This is the best thing that has happened to me today!
ReplyDeleteMuch easier than the ones before!
ReplyDeleteyeah, using the arrow keys is much easier than using the mouse!
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the comments, but I just realized why it's so easy... they're all repeated from older games
ReplyDeleteI cannot navigate the second one... with the tall tower and the 4 arrows at the bottom
ReplyDeleteI know...they all seem to be repeats..
ReplyDeletealso, is it just me? I used to think these games were beautiful in black and white and maybe a little bit of colour...lately, I have not enjoyed the aesthetic quality of these games very much at all...=( such a shame!
Hm. Not much of a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not liking this one... and the one with the bikini was pointless. I am disappointed, especially when previous games were really good.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't too bad, but having just the arrow keys made them too easy. Also, I missed having the locked puzzles at the end of the rows and the columns; it gave more of a sense of accomplishment when you unlocked them.
ReplyDeleteBoo, several levels don't work for me. Nothing happens. Not enjoyable at all.
ReplyDeleteDon't know how to do the one with the clock and the one with the GNOME :(
ReplyDeleteThe one with the bikini put me off. Extremely tacky.
ReplyDeleteSome of the levels just don't work on Firefox on a Mac. Safari got me a few of them, but stumped on the clock level and the second last level.
ReplyDeleteHint: don't assume you _have_ to do something. The key to one level is to do nothing :-)
PS
ReplyDeleteDone the second last level!
For the time level, still no solution, but the time shown is the current system time...
PPS The clock level is another one where "time" is the key.... Don't be too quick to turn the light off again...
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, but these are just bad. Some levels don't work, some are too easy, some are boring, and I don't like the art. Very sad evolution in an otherwise great series.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Well said.
ReplyDeleteEvery level done except lvl 7
ReplyDeleteHow do i get the star?
@Ampmymous
ReplyDeleteLevel 7 is unfortunatly a duplicate of one of the old games too. Just do nothing & watch the magic happen ;)
Thx
ReplyDeleteSure is a lot of whiners on this post. Must be the heat.
ReplyDeleteGreat game, thanks Bart.
My old favourites! I really enjoy the hoshi saga games, Ringome was my favourite one and it's nice to see colour brought into some favourite levels from the whole series. I do prefer using the mouse for them but this was still really enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteI really do love the hoshi saga games. I know this one is the first made for for touchscreens & so there are technical differences, but I was disappointed with it. I was expecting the same level of challenge that I have come to expect with these games. These were just too easy.
ReplyDeleteI can't get # 8 to do anything.
ReplyDeleteI finished all the other levels.
There is only one star rating, so I feel dumb.
But then again lv. 7 was 4 stars to do nothing.
Power of the post! I finished 8.
ReplyDeleteOK now what does it say when you do all the levels ?
I clicked on the menu star but the page is not in English.
