where is 2016?
Where is 2016? It's probably hiding somewhere in Mateusz Skutnik's new point and click game. A very very happy happy new year to all of you and see you in 2016 with more games!
Oddly, it glitched on me the first time I played it. When I came back from the first scene, the pointer was already on the second one, so it skipped that scene. I played to the end of the last scene and then couldn't get anywhere (as the second dot was still red). I had to restart to finish.
Thought the third scene was trickier than the last...but maybe I was just getting good at intuiting where the switches might be. Thanks, Bart...and Happy New Year!!
Thank you very much Bart, for posting this one, and for keeping us informed about the latest online games and making your own fun games. (Where is cat? is still my favourite). And a very happy New Year to you too of course.
At the risk of being the "token curmudgeon," I'll say that these puzzles are too much of a pixel hunt for my taste. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to where the whatever-they-ares are hidden, and i don't really enjoy them. I'm glad the rest of you do, though. Happy New Year to all of you!
@Andy I totally agree - I really like good games but pixel hunting is so awful and so unnecessary and finally anoying. Happy new year to all of you - may it be a year full of health, peace and freedom for everyone
This isn't even pixel hunting. At least in pixel hunts there are pixels to hunt for. I'm just doing a systematic grid search to find clickable areas, because there's barely any other way to tell what to click on. :/
Bart! Thanks for a another year of great games! I hope you and your family find 2016 to be as new, different and interesting as it's portrayed in this game! Look forward to more wonderful games in the new year!
happy new year Bart, the game designers, and players. It´s been 6 years already! I was under treatment to have my son in a foreign country. You and your games helped a lot to relax that time. my son is six years old now. that´s why I will always remember the time I have been playing bontegames!!! oh... he love videogames!!
Quite surprised at the change in this game. I came home and made of cup of tea looking forward to a good time pixel hunting but was done in less than 15 minutes! I did still enjoy it but prefer the previous much longer format.
And a happy new year for you too!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for all the lovely games you find (and make) for us every year.
Groetjes,
Annemarie ('Jade').
Huzzah! I've been waiting all week for this! Good game, though that last switch was a bit tricky.

ReplyDelete2016 marks the first year where I finish one of these without help - a promising start :)

ReplyDeleteFor once I finished one of these, without help and without getting so frustrated I stopped :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad 2016 isn't wearing a Donald Trump haircut.
ReplyDeleteOn the third one I found several switches but couldn't find the final one with the lights.
