really nice graphics - I like it but to be honest without walkthrough I would have been desastrously lost the end imo is a bit uncreative - I really would have liked they'd drink the stuff and they become mermaids or stuff like that ;) but I do like a lot of the storytelling :) especially when things turn out in a dfferent way (use of the armadillo for example) quite intelligent thinking - I like that thumbs up for this one!
Spent 90% of the time walking to and fro. Couldn't do it without a walkthrough. I can do tomatea games, kotorinosu games, anything, but this one stumped me. Summon a wizard?? Build a lure?? Find a fishing hook?? After having walked through this one I felt it was a waste of time. Monkey go happy! Anytime!
this game is fun, and I love it... I just can't get it to fit my screen. Is there a way to play this without having to scroll back and forth? It's making it much more difficult, and I don't have enough room to drag items from the inventory to the top of the screen. :(
OK that was a great game ! I used F11 & the item highlighter feature. Still missed the eyepatch & lever on the mast. I found the logic fairly sound, if you just remember every detail. I also loved the ending.
How do you summon the wizard? I got the cannonball and I think you're supposed to put it on the mushrooms. But it won't summon the wizard! It just says, "The Wizard wouldn't be interested in the cannonball." Please help, or I'm stuck!
I really enjoyed it but had to use the walkthrough as logic certainly doesn't apply for some of it! Great music, graphics and storyline, I'll bookmark this and play again, see if I can do it without the walkthrough a second time!
Needed a walkthrough many, many times. I thought it was just me being stupid but now, after reading the comments, I'm thinking not. Walking around was annoying. Especially near the end, when I needed to move from one end of the game to the other, I was really groaning. He moves so slowly. The ending was extremely unoriginal. Given the sarcastic style of the game, I was actually thinking beforehand that there probably was no curse and these were just ingredients for some mushroom soup or something like that. Was not worth the time it took.
The book clue was pretty straight forward. The books that are white are the ones that need to be out.
I got it! I'm sooo happy! I didn't even have to use the walkthrough! I just looked at this comments page once, figured out that there was an item highlighter and used it to find a couple of items, and got the rest by myself! I didn't even have to use the walkthrough! (It's very rare that I can figure a game like this out by myself. I got stuck on like the second level of Humbug 2- that game makes no sense at all.)
I'm having fun!

Where is the black fabric to make the eyepatch?
ReplyDeleteThe black fabric is in the very first scene, at the feet of one of the trees, behind the three mushrooms in front. lol, that should help you find it!
ReplyDeleteIt's in the mushroom village. You don't need to do anything to get it; you just need to spot it.
ReplyDeleteThankyou - spent ages looking for that black fabric and had to resort to the walkthrough (sad face) Am now up and running. xxxxx
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun one. Will do my best to finish it without a walkthrough. Great classic style adventure.
ReplyDeleteI eventually got it, but you have to let go of logic for much of it. If you only try things that "make sense", you'll never finish.

ReplyDeleteI liked this one a lot, but it was extremely laggy.
ReplyDeleteAfter a little fiddling I managed to get F11 to work.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely want to go full screen with this one.

Help me!!! Game is almost passed but I can't get the wizard to give me the seeds?! What to do? He's just saying "incorrect" all the time

ReplyDeleteHave you spoken to anyone that has mentioned the wizard? Ask around to all the characters you can speak with.

ReplyDeletego to the bar keeper then go back to the wizard

ReplyDeletethe cannonball doesn't go on the mushrooms, but on something else nearby that has a round spot for it.
ReplyDeleteBook clue isn't working for some reason... please help?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, I figured it out!
