As Emily says a language warning would be a good move. I got very bored very quickly but it was amusing and clearly a fair amount of time has gone into it.
When the Guy starts rambling on you can open another tab & play through every branch option of the game before he shuts up. Well he never does, he just ends with "I will repeat whet I said."
There were no actual choices to be made in the game. It was just a story. You could choose your gender (or frog), and the only choice at the end led to the same response no matter what.
Twine is an inventive platform, but I must've missed something here as far as being a game.
The satire of this game is kinda out of place with all the meta and swearing that doesn't really add up to the experience. The background sounds and the art is great, but the writing was just hard to get through.
Firstly, I was interested. Loved the original advent.
ReplyDeleteBut... didn't go anywhere soon enough.
weirdo game! and i chuckled my way thru it :)
ReplyDeleteI guess it was kind of funny. It didn't require my brainbox like they promised though.
ReplyDeleteThere should be some kind of language warning.

ReplyDeletekinda funny. Worth ten minutes of my time!!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the Adventure books, where you choose the next page to read at the bottom of the story on each page based on your next move.
ReplyDeleteVery original story telling in a somewhat game form. Liked it a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Why are you cursing here? I don't like it. I couldn't continue.
ReplyDeleteMeh!
ReplyDeleteI agree: Meh...
ReplyDeleteBoooriiing despite the interesting idea. And agree on the language : why??
ReplyDeleteGreat sound FX and really funny. But why the bad words

ReplyDeleteway too many swears
ReplyDelete@Ruud: My thought exactly. Those books were a big part of my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw Megan Trainor in there somewhere...

Creative, though.
