Can you figure out how to light all the bars in this short minimal puzzle Tempres by Takorii? My 'low score' is 8.865, what's yours?
After 5 minutes of random clicking I still had no idea what I have to do. But after my 1st finish in 27.141s the diagram helps a lot to get better. Now I manage to make it in 7.233s. I doubt i can make it any better than that :p
Spoilers cause i dont want to see anyone smash their sh*t over this
the trick is that you have to wait between clicks and for each time you click you have to wait longer than last time or it resets, so lets say between the first and second you took 1 second to click, now you must wait for anything longer than 1 second to pass before getting the third, than wait anything longer than however long it took to click the third in order to get the fourth, and so on till you reach 10
Took me quite a while to figure out :)
ReplyDeleteWhat nice little time waster :)

So what's the point: score high or score low?
ReplyDeletealso took quite a while to for me realize how the game works as well, even with that chart
ReplyDeleteand i got 4.817 thanks to it
@PJ
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure the score you get is the time you need to finish the game in seconds. So: the lower the score the better you are.
I love all these games you blog here!
ReplyDeleteMy best was 2.658 XD

Got 52.something on my first cut, lots of deranged clicking trying out theories of what was going on.
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing reminds me a lot of "Don't shoot the puppy" from years ago.
Fun little game. Very well designed.

ReplyDeleteI had a 0.636 as my lowest so far. Of course, that's with running something like this in Bash (the X/Y is because it was in my center monitor):
ReplyDeletexdotool mousemove 2500 480;
xdotool click 1;
for i in {01..10}; do
xdotool key space && sleep 0.$i;
done
