pumpking [browser]
Watch out for flappy bats, floaty ghosts and bad witches in the halloween themed platformer Pumpking by Sophie Holden.
I do prefer when you don't have to restart if you die too many times, but it was still pretty fun. Only made it to the very confined spike/slime part, oh well. Also, too bad the music was only played in the menu, it was pretty good.
Starting from the beginning is a terrible idea, what's the point of the save progress lanterns?! The bat jumping part was very hit or miss, glitchy if you got a boost from them. The giant pumpkin was where it got a bit silly, again hit or miss if you got a boost from the green slime monsters and was usually timed to perfection to fire you into a path of pumpkin fire. I pushed back that pumpkin about 4 times before I gave up with starting from the beginning, not enjoyable I'm afraid due to that aspect.
If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.

The bat part is so tricky.... :'(
@anonymous: You can just hold down the up arrow if you're just struggling with timing

Really no fun at all, restarting constantly in return for little progress yields no value in pressing on.
Having to start over became a chore. Games are supposed to be fun!
