the escape hotel - hot spring [browser]
You can enjoy the sea view, have a relaxing outdoor bath or try to open the entrance door in the latest escape the room game by Tesshi-e: The Escape Hotel - Hot Spring.

Ooooh, that just leaves me wanting a nice warm soak in the tub :-) [Not hard, just requires the usual thinking...]
I love these, but usually they make me doubt my intellect a little...I swear I'm smart! I'm just not finding nuts to attach things, I need a cloth to do some cleaning, I need to understand the card suits puzzle..
my brain, my brain, my fortune for a functioning brain
it turned out I had a total blind spot when it came to that puzzle...I used a youtube walkthrough for it..but just for that part, and everything then came together beautifully =)
Happy Coin for me! Thanks, Sample for the clue. Just enough of a nudge. Several of the elements of this escape were reminiscent of other escape games. Use of binoculars, the card suite substitution code, draining/filling water, use of a thermometer, using screws/bolts from one element to another. I guess I've been playing these games for too long... ... ... Nah! Thanks, Bart!
Still stuck on the card suits puzzle? The clue on the sign tells the code for each suit. Now substitute the appropriate code each time you see the suit in the columns above the key pad. (This results in three 3x5 arrays of hollow and solid circles.) The three digit code will be "spelled" out for you.
SPOILER FOR CARD SUIT PUZZLE , , , , , , , look at the first column of the box. it is diamond - heart - diamond - spade - diamond. now using the info from the back of the "hot water of Mr. Birdy" sign substitute the diamond with-O O O the heart with---O . . the diamond with-O O O the spade with---O . O the diamond with-O O O
the O make the number six so that is the first digit of the code. do the same thing for the remaining two digits
(I am hoping when i post this the Os and the .s will line up properly lol)
If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.

Is there a happy coin? I don't remember a Mild Escape game without one, yet there aren't any obvious loose ends to solve.
There is a happy coin - something changes after you pull the lever before finishing
I found the card suits clue, but I'm not yet getting how this relates to the number input panel
Also, is it just me, or does it somehow feel kind of strange to have an outdoor scene?

veewee: The card suits are a substitution code. I hope that helps without spoiling it too much.

Possibly a ***spoiler***
Note: The substitution code works column by column and the result is visual. I found this a bit mind bending too :-)
After viewing a walkthrough for the suits puzzle, I have to admit, I still don't get it. :)
It was a nice puzzle.
About the clue for the suits puzzle
*** spoiler ***
Maybe I would have understood it if you had said that the substitution works row by row (and that you need pen and paper).

This one was pretty straightforward, including the happy coin. Very relaxing!
Out with the Happy Coin.
Very nice game... not too difficult - the card signs puzzle is not so easy but quite logical....
Thanks Lizzie!! I was close, but I hadn't thought to treat each column separately.
A solid Tesshi-e game like always, though the card suit puzzle did trip me up. Thanks Lizzie!! for the help.

i hope you can understand the concept though.

Nice one, but the card suits puzzle was a little bit confusing...
Can't seem to place the animals on the painting... Anyone's got an idea ?
