e.x.i.t ii [browser]

I'm reposting the new Kotorinosu escape the room game from last week on mobile, because they just released a browser version (and I know a lot of you prefer to play these kind of games in a browser). Enjoy E.X.I.T II in your browser!

  1. The very endgame part of this is baffling me. Any hints?

  2. This one was tough for me, but I got there.

As for hints, it depends a lot on how far along you are. I initially missed which letters the metal-plate figures were supposed to be, and had discarded that hypothesis, and was mucking about with stupid roman numeral tricks for a while.

    Stop here to avoid spoilers:

The metal plate has two sides, they both matter, some numbers are embossed and some are indented. There's more than one replacement antler. After you finish the puzzle behind the picture, there's an object behind it.

Hopefully I'm not giving too much away?

  3. Hm, then I'm not as endgame-y as I thought! I'm really liking the game, though. The puzzles are fresh and interesting and it's much longer than I thought it would be, which speaks to its complexity. I'm looking forward to much more from Kotorinosu!

  4. Felt very Myst-like. Also, I like when items have more than one use

  5. I can't figure out what to do next. I just got the pendulum weight and used the padlock. Any help?

  6. If you haven't got the three letter code, you've missed a view of an object...

Take some TIME to look around...

  8. i'm stuck on the three letter code! I saw your comment Anon, but i'm still lost. I've tried every i,v,x combination.

  9. Very nice! Has a Neutral feel, no? Love the mult-use inventory items. More realistic that way and makes for better gameplay.

For those stuck on the clock . . .

That book on the table contains three "double" images, each a roman numeral and . . .
(don't want to spoil all the fun)

  10. Oh, dear, maybe I should have highlighted the LOOK and the VIEW as well as the TIME... There's a view of the clock that's very easy to miss. Anything more than that would need a spoiler alert :-)

  11. Got to say it was a great game, had to cheat one time, but the rest I got.

  13. Hm I thought I got the view of the clock that's supposed to help with the three letter combination but I have no idea what to do with it...

  14. This was fun. It was tricky in a few places, but I was able to get through it.

  15. @anon 8:30
I always find some spots of my couch near the floor get very grubby sometimes, what with people's shoes and all. :)

  16. I have no idea how to get the string off of the clippers...

  17. probably the easiest kotorinosu game to date. I used a hint, but only because I gave in to impatience. Anon, you can't cut the string... do something else...
