self golf [browser]
You are the ball and the only way to jump is to hit yourself with your golf club: Self Golf by Second Dimension Games, created for the 'combine 2 incompatible genres' themed Ludum Dare 41 game jam.
That was surprisingly fun (and far less frustrating than I thought it would be)! Managed to get a -2 on my second attempt at 18 holes (got a +6 or so on my first attempt). Thanks for sharing this with us, Bart!
first game one over par, second game -23 ... you can walk the ball without any penalty, even when the ball is in motion. The game runs very smoothly in full screen, even on my average-at-best computer.
Absolutely lovely. It took me a moment to get used to doing it with my trackpad since I don't have a mouse on hand, but super fun. Love the retro feel.
@anonymous It runs on my macbook, I'm using Firefox as my browser. If the problem is a lack of mouse, it's doable just a little clunky on the trackpad.
You can presumably pull up a program at the present time and discover a group of tips to rectify a shank golf shot. The issue is that you do not understand which ones will work and which ones are genuinely an exercise in futility. I have discovered that the most ideal approach to discover what works is to locate the correct ways different golfers have done it.

ReplyDeleteMy only complaint is the lack of vision. I wish I could scroll the screen to view more of each hole.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to play this on a MacBook?
ReplyDeleteI actually really love this one. Merci, Bart!

Is there some way to scroll around and look at the screen? This isn't much fun if I'm just shooting blind.
ReplyDeleteThe golf ball carrying a golf club is surprisingly adorable.
