cute little game. fun to play. thank you for posting
The puzzles themselves were decent, but too easy. With only a couple basic rules and only grids of 3x3 and 4x4, there just wasn't enough to make the puzzles get more interesting.
The animation of the ravens was nice enough, but the constant slight motion as you move your mouse around was pretty awful, as were the controls. Fighting the interface on such a basic puzzle game just shouldn't happen.
And the little interlude haikus were completely out of place and pointless. Look at Nikoli -- simple, clean interface, great puzzles, and no BS. That's kind of the difference here.
Love the graphics and the feel of the game. The slight motion reminded me of birds sitting in a tree swaying back and forth in the breeze. And I loved the haikus. Very zen-like. A very enjoyable game. Thank you, Andy, for creating it.
Andy Bacon (the developer) here. Thanks so much for sharing this Bart. It's encouraging to hear all these nice comments. PS. I fixed that disappearing diamond bug!
The part of the instructions that said make a cup of tea and put on the headphones were the hint of what was to come. So I did just that. And although I struggled with the first puzzle until I saw the 2nd instruction, from there on I was entranced. Utterly. And the haikus (being a bit of a fan) had just as lovely visuals.
My only criticism/suggestion would be on the contributions. I went to contribute (with thanks) but the minimum was $5 which I felt was a little high for a short game and would discourage those willing to contribute $1 or $2. None of 5=0? 4x2=8. Just a suggestion.
I would love to see more from this game developer. Loved it :)
Thanks for playing and your kind words Door2. I changed the suggested donation price to $2.00. I agree it's more reasonable for this game. The number is just a suggestion though - you can manually enter a price to pay whatever you want. Cheers!
Loved it! I liked the art style and the poetry, even though some of the levels were a little easy. It was also a little short, I think the story could be added to and the turn in the game to be more clear, like maybe changing color scheme or something? Overall though, great game!

I liked that one, not too difficult. Was able to solve all puzzles without assistance.
need to buy windows
Nice idea for a sudoku-like game!
It could be prolonged with new rules/object.
Meh.

Sometimes a diamond disappears from the screen and I had to restart the level.

sweet game...
i too, would like to see more from playfulbacon and a little more difficulty :)
That was a lovely experience. I hope you expand the game!

Lovely little game. I enjoyed the whole experience. I hope this is the beginning of grander and more complex productions.
Thank you, Bart, for posting.
Thank you, playfulbacon, for taking the time to make and post this creation.
I too enjoyed this game. It seems that most people did, which means you've got a winner. Thanks for the peaceful, peace-giving, simplicity of it.

I absolutely loved this game! Thanks for sharing!
Didn't work well in Linux Chrome, but worked fine in Windows Chrome.
