slime swap [browser]
Swap places with a block of slime to reach the exit in each level of the new puzzlescript puzzler by Alan Hazelden: Slime Swap. (Z-key to undo a move, R-key to restart a level)
There's always that one little move that eludes you and drives you nuts. Until you finally stumble over it. Another tasty tester from the remarkable Mr. H.
lvl6: a very useful move when the slime is flat against a wall is to push a movable block into it, and the slime will pop out a space. Hope that helps!
lvl 11 is where I got stuck. The trick is to realize you can move the top slime away from the top wall after you've made your first trip to the lower room.
I'm on level 11, in the lower right room with the block and one slime. Without Stage name's hint, the block is stuck on the bottom edge, but with Stage name's hint, the block and the slime are both stuck on the bottom edge. I can't see how to get out from there. I've been trying to work out how to get the top slime into the right-hand column (and not stuck in the doorway) so I can send the block to land on top of the other slime, but thinking about it, I'm not sure that would help anyway.
Walkthrough. Explanation of notation: "SRU" means push into the SLIME by going RIGHT (as if you were trying to push a normal block to the right), then enter it by going UP. B1D3U means push BOX 1 (the one with the uppermost starting position) DOWN 3 times, then up once.

ReplyDeleteCannot get level 6. I know I'm missing something that will seem obvious to me later.

ReplyDeleteany hint for level 10?
ReplyDeleteThe trick to lvl10 is to maneuver the slime into the left lane of the central hallway but high enough to then move the block under it.
ReplyDelete@Stage name. Thanks perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat is level 11?

ReplyDeleteFor lower right room of lvl 11, see my above hint for lvl 6. (Push block through slime, leaving enough space to your right.)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stage name! Now I'm on level 14, but I'll have to come back later, out of time.
ReplyDeleteFinished! Hurrah! (Some lateral thinking needed)
