using pushers [browser]

A new day, a new Rosden Shadow puzzlescript puzzler. Move the crates on their targets by pushing the arrow blocks into the crates to move them in the desired direction: using pushers. (Z-key to undo a move, R-key to restart a level)

  4. Level 4 Tips: Obviously, you need to use all the blocks, so at no point can you push one to the outside edge or block them in along the under side of the "island." There are 2 right pushers on the right side, and 2 left pushers on the left side, you need to trade a pair of these at some point. You also need to get a down arrow in place above the island before you move either block sideways, or you won't be able to move the block down (you can't push up into a black without blocking the down path).

    Let's say you start with the right side. Push the 3rd block down (the right arrow) into the middle of the formation so you can maneuver by. Go around it and push it back one swaure so you can get under the formation of pushers. From here, you can push the other right block up one, then you can scoot outside and push the 2nd block from the top (the down pusher) one to the left. Now you can move a down pusher up to the top of the island, and bring your right pusher up. That's more than enough to get you rolling.

  5. Wow, this guy is prolific.

    Stuck on level 3. Can't work out how to break up that square and get anything useful out of it, nor how to avoid hitting an Up. What am I missing?

  6. Level 3: There is only one move you can make to get the block moving. You already know what that is, so don't fight it. Maybe you don't have to *avoid* doing something as much as you have to neutralize it? Position yourself appropriately to do that, then the rest is easy from there.

  7. @Kiel Blanton,

    If I do that it goes down, right and up. Then there aren't enough Downs left. The only way I've found not to have it hit the Up is to break the square from the right, which leaves the Left pushers stuck together where I can't get at them.

  8. @Kiel Blanton,

    As you were! I just realised a rule I hadn't noticed (What happens if ...?) And _now_ I see it hidden in your previous comment.

    On to level 4, but not just yet ...
