First!! Really well done of a game. Thoroughly enjoyed playing it and loved the ending.

I was almost frustrated & it ended, good length.
However I could not turn off the nice sound.

fun little game! felt to me like a miniature celeste but with a very different theme

I really would like to be able to jump with the up arrow key, just can't play with z/x game scheme. poor fingers motor coordination :(

The controls start to get a bit tedious with the blue area, but otherwise this was a great game! The ending is something to think about, too...

Mostly pretty good, but the "sacrificing" was irrelevant to the gameplay; it was just something shoehorned in to fit the contest theme. Had you actually lost some other abilities, it would have worked better. And on that note, re: previous Anon: no, the ending isn't something to think about. It's just another platform game with some bit of pretentiousness thrown in to try to make it seem Deep and Important.

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get past the bouncing mushrooms with spike islands in the blue world. Is there a way to bounce higher or is it like, pixel death Megaman style?

Anon 20:20, it took me a minute to figure this out: bouncing right in the center of the mushroom causes you to go slightly higher than bouncing at the edge.

Yes, a good length considering how usual the mechanics are. It drew me in just because it was so well-made, and very stylistic, but to keep me any longer it would have had to do something really new and unexpected with the actual gameplay.

Two things - 1) I agree with the previous comment regarding the z/x scheme. It would be a lot more streamlined to use up to jump. 2) There is a glitch where my character gets stuck in the mushroom and I have to reset the game because there's nothing I can do to get him out.

@Anonymous 14 December 2018 at 20:20: I'm stuck here too. There's a gameplay video on Youtube and the two spike islands don't appear. Without them you can just dash from mushroom to mushroom.

The creator actually got rid of the awkward mushroom jumps from the night level thank god!

Cute game but would have been much much much much much more enjoyable with a music control.
