unlock everything [browser]
Take control of Libra on a quest to rediscover not only her powers but also her memory in the platformer Unlock Everything created by Timmie Wong for the 'start with nothing' themed Ludum Dare 45 game jam.
Oh, that explains a lot about why level 2 was so confusing! Yes, you have to go backwards and take some damage in order to get to the items you need to progress.
I didn't have that issue with Level 2, I think it's been fixed.
Yeah, the problem with Evoland was that its cool gimmick only worked for so long; that's why the second game mostly abandoned it, and ended up much better for it. I get the feeling that might be what would happen if this game was made into a full release of similar length.
That boss battle was tough indeed! As his moves are quite random it's hard to find the strategy to defeat him, but once you got the moves it's doable!! ( Died a few times and almost abandoned it)
I found that I was able to defeat the boss without leaving the center of the room, just shooting while turning in place and jumping at the right times to dodge the blades. It took a few tries before I got the pattern down, but it worked.
Loved the concept and the Mega Man influences! The boss battle was pretty tricky until I tried staying in the center of the room, like Nathan K. did. Then it was much easier.
What's on the memory card?? I want to know more :(
"To be continued."?
ReplyDeleteI wanted everything!
The title makes false promises.
Evoland had this concept but sucked & I paid for it lol.
Level 2 is glitched. It starts you off on the wrong screen, forcing you to backtrack to get the weapon you need.
