dice [browser]
Have you got what it takes to solve all the puzzles, find the door and escape the room in the latest escape the room game Dice by Sarameya?
The Memo needs to be combined with two other things to give a useable code. Thing one is on one of the pinboards. (Bonus hint: re-use something you already used in a previous riddle.) Thing two is in the title. Why is the escape game named DICE?
the place where to hit is logical but I still think that using the hammer to change the "4" into the missing "5" is not * so * logical (which made me uselessly try the hammer in many other places, not knowing what to do with it....). Also reminds me that the way you get two coloured coins from one is also "not so logical" - I had the chance to find it qui te fast however. Again a pity because globally the game is quite nice.
not to talk about the last puzzle.... I agree it's a quite smart one, but it is easier to brute force than to actually find. And the drawing in the lower right dot of the "5" is misleading. I like searching interesting riddles, but not loosing time analyzing misleading clues....
Loved this one. Great mix of 'old' style and new to me puzzles. For some reason, I knew just what to do with the hammer! Keep the name of the game in mind. Thanks, Bart and Sarameya.
Slow going.
ReplyDeleteCan I get help about the Memo?
To #1 Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteSplit the Memo image into 2x3 square images.
Each becomes a dice image.
The very last puzzle is very, very clever. Excellent game.

Good luck!
Sorry, but didn't like it. It's way too complicated for me.
ReplyDeleteNot bad but I did not like having to try to use the hammer everywhere.... a pity because the other riddles are logical.
ReplyDeleteThe hammer place is completely logical. It had to be five.
ReplyDeletea good one for sure.

ReplyDeleteSo I got out, but brute-forced the circles-and-squares puzzle in the middle safe at one point when I was pretty much totally lost.
ReplyDeleteFound a walkthrough, and now realize what I missed!
Dice?
ReplyDeleteNice!
liked the double use plate :)
ReplyDeleteBrute-force works on binary & 2 digit locks.
ReplyDeleteEach takes less than a minute.
I'm stuck embarrassingly early on... The only thing I've opened was the compartment with the handle.
