the giraffe world [browser]

Oh no, an evil person has scattered all of the Giraffe's hats. Can you help the Giraffe collect them all in the puzzle game The Giraffe World by Quentin Delvallet?

  1. Reminded me of so many hours spent playing snake! Appreciate this variation of the theme and the fun animations, music, and attention to detail put into this game. Will need to check out the og game now. Thanks, Quentin and Bart!

  5. Alright, I'm going to be a crybaby. Please reconsider undo, even if it's just undo one step only. I cannot tell you how many times I have held onto the key too long and overstretch the mark.

    It's a fun game.

  6. The positive comments from the creatures on the side are so cute! I felt more motivated to keep on trying when I reset a level. Really fun game - and lots of levels!

  7. Anyone figure out level 38?

  8. In the original game "The Giraffe who wants to collect every cute tiny hat."

There is an undo button & Pause menu with choices.
Also level select shows best moves & total moves & bonus levels
Guess I should play this version now.

  9. I am also stuck on #38.
There might be a hidden path off screen?
I haven't been able to unlock the 4 bonus levels.
Do you think they need many moves logged like the first game?
I feel that the first game was more user friendly.

  10. Yes, there's a hidden path off screen for the level 38. Also, all bonus levels are unlocked after beating the game !

  12. I've reached the bonus levels. I had a bit of trouble with level 42 - I couldn't see the hat in the corner (it was hidden by the itch.io label overlays) and never did figure out how to tell when the bird would go the right way, so did it partly by trial and error. Now I'm stuck on level 43. I keep getting stuck and can't see why because I can't see my path clearly (I guess the crossing rules still apply and I'm blocking myself in); I can't tell when I'm lined up on something properly and how far away it is; I can't see where there are more hats, and perhaps most importantly: when I turn left or right, am I taking a step or just turning to look that way?
