IM, did you brute-force the puzzle with three 2-digit combinations? On replay, I found that you can start there. It has to be solved before the face puzzle will work, and you need that for the final paint puzzle.
Nice. The first time I tried I got stuck because I didn't understand how to combine objects. The second day, I figured out how to do that, and the rest breezed by.
Hi, it's Nat R. except I'm going for cross-platform name recognition now! This way you can tell that all those awful negative comments about bugs on the Itch.io page were actually me. I apologize for those but I'm not going to pretend it was someone else.
Anyway, the clue-proofing on this one is pretty inconsistent, as the above commenters pointed out, but the biggest issue is that if you rush through the game too fast, you can get a glitch where the sundial pointer doesn't display in the detail view. (I think that's what causes it.) Restarting the game and spending more time clicking into every detail view ahead of time seems to fix it, but if you got that far and don't feel like it, read the below hint:

I had to look up a walkthrough for the lamp puzzle. It said what to do, but I still don't understand how I was supposed to do. Where was the clue for it?
Easy game,
ReplyDeleteFun puzzles,
Only I could find the bullet for the catapult at first
Cute.
ReplyDeleteSo I got out without using de rope-magnet combo and doing nothing with the huge clock/table. Did anybody else do the same?

ReplyDeleteI wasted a lot of time on the face puzzle.
ReplyDeleteHint: The 2nd clue is not about left or right.

ReplyDeleteI thought this was a very poor game. It's as if its maker hadn't played any escape games since 2010.
ReplyDeleteI thought the above was a very poor comment. It's as if its writer hadn't felt joy in anything they've done since 2010.

Love the graphics and ok with odd glitch but found I couldn't pick up some items and use from my inventory so to be honest I gave up!
ReplyDeleteHad to give up because itch.io stuff covered inventory, happens with a couple of other games on itch.io. Need a bigger screen/graphics card.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous 5:46 -- the lamp puzzle is related to the dartboard.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really terrible game.
