Friends of bontegames, today is the day: The Bart Bonte collection is out !! During the years I have made lots of Flash browser games like Factory Balls, Sugar Sugar, Me and the Key, Farafalla, Duck, Full Moon, Klikwerk, and so on, and so on. The Flash browser plugin however is dead since the beginning of this year, so these browser games are no longer playable but I have been very busy creating something special to cherish on your pc:
The Bart Bonte collection, a collection of 28 of my Flash games carefully packaged and remastered for you, all accessible from a menu loaded with achievements, playable on the big screen of your pc !!
You can purchase "The Bart Bonte collection" now on Steam or Itchio:
The Bart Bonte collection on Steam
The Bart Bonte collection on Itch.io
There's a 30% discount during this launch week ! Enjoy this massive collection of 28 games !!

This is great news, but I have 3 questions:
- Will the collection be released on GOG.com?
- If not, is the itch.io version DRM free?
- Will the collection have a Linux version?
Thanks in advance, and thank you very much for your games!
The collection will only be available for Windows on Steam and Itch.
Itch games are always DRM free.
I love it. ♥
Have two notes:
1.) Is there a reason why alt+enter doesn't work for full screen?
2.) I know it's a bit silly, but I want a button to close the game. I always find it strange when a game doesn't have this option.
Thanks! You can resize the game window to any size you want or go fullscreen in the settings part (gear icon). To quit just close the window.
Does the itch version come with a steam key?
The Itch version does not come with a Steam key, but if you want that I can get you one if you mail me the Itch receipt.
Another thing that came to my mind: Since this is to conserve your games from the death of flash, any chance you add the original release date in the description of the games in-game? Would be nice to see for nostalgia reasons :)
I am so excited to have these! I bought them, downloaded them, extracted them, but now I don't know how to run them. I have Windows 10. What application do I select to run the games? Do I need an app?
@PaperbackWriter great idea!
@Rebecca for the Itchio version: just double click the exe file: bbcollection.exe
It worked! Thank you, Bart! And thank you for making these games, which I, and now my children, love.
"and now my children"
Feelin' the years, Bart? 8)
Any plans to release this for Mac?
Offering to get people Steam keys for Itch.io purchases? Only you would be that generous, Bart. Thanks so much for everything you've given us, I can't wait to play all these again for the five hundredth time!
(P.S. this is Nat R. but going for cross-platform brand recognition now lol)
Thanks for publishing this, been a fan of your games for years so it is great to be able to replay the classics anytime I want now!
Just bought it on Steam! Thanks, Bart, for making sure your art lives on!
I installed Steam on Linux when you made the announcement. Looking forward to ignoring a chore to play it. :)
Any plans to add games like Seen On Screen, Fields of Logic, Chicken Grow, and the rest of the colour games in the future? It would be a shame to lose the first 3 forever
Sorry but The Bart Bonte collection is Windows only, a Mac version is not going to happen. Apple is making it really hard lately to develop something for their OS (outside of the Mac Store) especially on Big Sur...
About 'Seen On Screen', 'Fields of Logic' and 'Chicken Grow': unfortunately the technology I used to make those games was too old to have them included in the collection...
Thanks. :) A fun time killer to have on my desktop. And playing the Sugar, Sugar games in full screen is great fun with my Wacom! :D
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but in Must Pop Words, the game wouldn't let me return to the main page.
All 'Must Pop Words' bugs (back button breaking, achievements not registering) are now fixed in the latest update, enjoy!
