matchkey [browser]
Push matching blocks together to unlock doors, cause other effects, and reach the exit in the latest puzzle game by Robert Alvarez: Matchkey.
For 5, once you have the red key up and over to the right, go back down the path you used to come up under the red key. See if that gives you any ideas.
Got to Level 24 before I had that I-could-but-why-bother feeling. The puzzles I like best are the ones where you have a sort of "Eureka!" moment when you realized you have figured it out. But some puzzles feel like they've just piled it on, with no one particular way to solve them.
Of course, I could be wrong about Level 24. Maybe it does have a "Eureka!" moment in it that I didn't play long enough to find. But it just felt like I would be restarting over and over too many times to make it worth finding, even if it were there.
Level 24 (the last level) wasn't that hard, and didn't take that long, but it did require some planning, as well as thinking outside the box. It was probably the most interesting level of the game, but of course you have to actually solve it to appreciate it.
I love all the games of Robert Alvarez. They are not too hard, but needs some thinking and planning, the music is relaxing, the graphic is nice, the mechanics are flawless - his games never make me nervous. :-)
Nice one - quite easy.

Good game, overall.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Tom- level 24 was by far the most imaginative, and the best.
ReplyDeleteNice game
I ended up liking it. A few times, it required just "walking away" to think about it...(or at least, to forget the bad idea I originally had). ;)
