All I have to see is those red corners telling me I have time limit to know this game ain't for me.
I don't think those red corners is the time limit. It just tells you that you run out of battery and need to recharge yourself.
Yes, there's no time limit in the game, you can relax :)

Spent a while just moving round because it took some time to realise I could charge myself lol.
Lovely little game though! Really enjoyed Room as well by same developer. Hope there are many more like this to follow!
How do you get the second ending?
Super cute and fun. As a hint for how to get the good ending, just try looking around to see if anything has changed before you charge up your friend.
Clean it and hang it up!

Is this really the right solution? Hanging the clean item didn't work for me. I tried about 7 times. If there is more, I've overseen it.
But nevertheless it is really a nice game.

"Anonymous C" here. Like a previous "Anonymous," I've gotten the towel, cleaned it, and hung it up to dry, looked around, and nothing more to be seen -- charged my friend, and died. How to avoid this and get the 2nd ending, anyone?

No robot has to sacrifice. It seems like you didn't get the second(and maybe the true) ending.

Yeah yeah found it after the hints. So the new massage is that instead of blindly sacrificing yourself do your best and look for better alternatives..

My only complaint is that the game rule changed.
You constantly run around with no ⚡ until the end.
It would have been easy enough to fix that.
I suspect the creator wanted replay value.
