scatterhoard [browser]
Prepare for winter by pushing and hoarding giant acorns around the forest in the sokoban-style puzzler Scatterhoard by Pixel Bubble.
is it just me or is itch.io using an asshole design-pattern to force awareness of their Game Jams, while reducing game enjoyability?
unless you play games in full-screen (not always possible) their Game Jam text in the top right corner almost always overlaps with the game on the page
they could easily make a hide button, or even easier just put the Game Jam line as the very FIRST line in the top right. but no, they're happy having it always overlap the game
@Unknown Level 7 had me for a bit. You have to use a different concept in moving things around that the game doesn't really introduce (unless I missed it somewhere). Then its pretty straightforward. Not sure how to tell you much more without giving it all away.
fun fun FUN! level 21 was fairly easy after only a couple attempts... ya gotta sit back and take a good look at how the board is set up and then you have that aHA moment! thanks so much bart and pixel bubble xo
Needs an undo buttton.
ReplyDeleteNice game but it's somehow boring that we don't have any "undo" - and worse, that the "reset" does not work.... at least with firefox.
ReplyDeleteYou have to hold "R" to reset for a few seconds. There's a countdown bar in the top left.
ReplyDeleteA lot of trial and error with 21 but super satisfying when you nail it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat am I missing on 11?
ReplyDeleteLevel 11: First move middle acorn down one space. Rest is more or less automatic.
ReplyDeleteFun game. Ended too soon at 22 levels.
ReplyDeletei agree not enough levels, i agree needs undo button
ReplyDeletei had to refresh page a couple of times to continue after reset on chrome.
level 11: the owls have a limited range, which i didn't realise at first either. this level is the first time it's really relevant

*shakes tiny first*
Is anybody else stuck on level 7?

ReplyDeleteNow, level 14... suggestions?
Re level 14 - you need to do the top targets when you're in "night" mode and the plants are lying down.
ReplyDeletefun fun FUN!
