roomba quest 3 [browser]
The conclusion of the Roomba Quest Trilogy is here: Roomba Quest 3 by Aaron Steed. At the end of the universe, only you can discover all the secrets and get the extra good ending.
Should have made it clear: I finished in two different ways. But in both cases, the game tried to talk me out of it, leading me to believe there is a better ending??
I think I'm stuck -- I got to the point where there's a barrier to cross, but it says I need a ticket, which I don't have. I've worked out how to "type in" numbers into the fence, and found the one that tells me my state info (# of secrets found, etc.), and gotten some secrets, but I'm not sure what else to do? Is there another number I need to find that does something different?
Hint for Urban Garlic: You need to talk to the "thing" that speaks in half sentences, and stops. (Think he is on the stone pathway?) After leaving, and coming back once or twice, he eventually gives you a ticket.
So..... the text said that all of the fragments that you found got merged into a 'Secret', but that 'Secret' then got merged again into other Big Secrets and turned into 'Conspiracy', in which you lost that 'Secret' as the result, leaving you still with 20 of them?
Also another note: I've tried once to collect all of the fragments first and avoid collecting any other Secrets (I hope so, and I'm pretty sure I did so). But the fragments still got merged into Big Secrets and turned into 'Conspiracy' , even though I don't have any of them in my backpack yet (like, how?).
Maybe I'm missing a step or two, or maybe I got tricked.....
I think I've found it. Unfortunately I had to look into the game's data (which is available for download in the game's page), so it was kind of cheating ._.v .
But that is the only hint I'll use, so it won't make the ending extremely easy to get. But it is significantly easier to do so.
YES! Finally made it to the true ending!! Goodness me that was exhausting. Turns out I was overthinking the solution (or most of them) and only missing a very few step. :D
Yeah, I don't think there's any issue with getting fragments before or after. The last secret I was missing just involved a bit of trial and error. Just remember to listen to the headbangers, because their clues are useful.
I've found 2 endings: 1) Collect all of the explosive bits. When you get to the stage, there is a lever. Pull the lever, and the universe explodes. (Obviously, not the "good" ending). 2) Collect all of the secrets, and summon the NIN band/robot. Then on stage there is a microphone. Sing into the microphone and...the universe explodes. (Still not a satisfying ending).
That's all I got. If something BETTER exists, someone point the way?
Hey, I found the first ending, but I have no idea how to resurrect NIN. The sandworm says 420, and the fence replied "keep off the grass", what I did, but nothing happens... Please, help ? Like the others my last secret turned into conspiracy, and I lost it :(
I got 19 secrets and couldn't find the last 2. I know there's at least 1 visible in the memorial park that I haven't been able to get to. Anyone have any ideas?
Also found a link https://bag.com/?B=0451 from the game, which my browser says is a security risk.
This could take a while.
ReplyDeleteStrange...and strangely compelling.
ReplyDeleteI actually finished....twice. I'm unsure if I "won" or not! Guess that fits into the "strange".... ;)

ReplyDeleteNifty, thanks -- had not gone back to the prior "stripe" to find the stone path.
ReplyDelete20 secrets, I have no idea which one I've missed!

Is there any way to keep that from happening?

ReplyDeleteare there anymore endings beyond the "thanks for playing" and "well done" ones?

Those are the only two solutions I've found as well.
ReplyDeleteHahahah, this one is a fever dream

ReplyDeleteYou need to get a shovel from one of the characters and give it to another. If you talk to all of them eventually one gives you directions.

I already played about the 75% of the game only with keyboard, when I figured that I can look around in the rooms with the mouse! :-D
ReplyDeleteExplosives 33/36
ReplyDeleteSecrets 18/21
That's what's left... I don't know where else to look for them.
I'm also curious about that link in the game. Is it safe to open it???
