growmi [browser]
Growmi entered a portal that took all of its powers away. Now you'll need to help Growmi regain them back. Start small and grow big to prove to the world that you are the smartest of them all in this puzzle game by Carlos Pedroso and InĂªs Ribeiro.
BUG: When you collect the 2 puzzle pieces, they don't save. They just go back to where they were, so you can't do anymore unfortunately. Good game though.
I didn't have any problems with the puzzle pieces... I'm using Google Chrome. But I am stuck on the level: One More. It's the one with the 2 blue dots that extend the body length and you have to get the battery piece up to the ledge where the box is. I'm pretty sure you need to leave the box up there to be able to get the star at the end. I can't figure out how to get the battery up there without bringing the box down. Any hints?
Great game, but unfortunately a very serious bug. All progress was lost and I became trapped between the diamond gate and the 7 length gate (despite being 7 length, I assume it is not opening due to a bug, only one purple star is showing when I have collected 3 so far). Looks like I won't get to play the rest of it unless I redo all the earlier levels (not worth it).
I could tell it was a bit glitchy already because I was turning blue at times without collecting orbs and I was able to push a button through a solid block.
Thankfully I didn't experience any bugs in my playthrough. The puzzles are fantastic - challenging but intuitive. And the level names usually give a little hint if you're not sure how to start. Great game, thanks for sharing!
Just finished. This is my favorite game in a long time. Just the right balance of relaxed and challenge. This would be in my top 10 of the past year. Thanks for sharing!
Is there any way to save progress? There doesn't seem to be an automatic one, I can't find any way to do it manually, and there is more to do than I really want to go through in a single sitting.
@Andy I'm running Chrome on a Chromebook, and it seemed to save it for a day or two automatically. Another option is to just leave the tab open for however long it takes.
It could be a difference in browsers, I suppose; I'm running Firefox on Fedora Linux. But that doesn't usually cause problems for me. Browsers are pretty good about sharing compatibilities these days.
Head's Up: Get under the battery at the left side of the ledge. Head left through the + block. Turn up and wrap around to push the battery left, on the + block. Back up to the + block and go all the way left, then down and loop up through the + block. Now you can (with some backtracking) pick up all the dabs and push the battery to its spot.
(The game's "clear progress" option seems to have disappeared - I had to clear my history to replay to that level.)
By using the hints, I managed to get through all of it except for one of the bonus stars (the "DAB FALL" screen), but I found a walkthrough which explained that:

I'm stuck on that one two! Did you ever figure it out?
DeleteUgh me 2
DeleteOMG, the power of posting is real. Never mind!
ReplyDeleteGreat game! Challenging puzzles, smooth controls and nice music.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently stuck on that one bonus level with the broken bridge, no idea how to maneuver the crate over so I can place the battery w/o dying
ReplyDeleteAh, finally got it!
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on getting the pearl on "Safe Fall". I can get the battery up left, but not the box down in the right position in the spikes. :/
ReplyDeleteVery satisfying puzzles. I beat every one, including bonuses.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the bonuses for anyway?!?!
DeleteGreat game!
ReplyDeleteJust the right amount of hard for me.
I got both endings & feel smart.

ReplyDeleteI, too, had fun until I realised I had unexplicably lost a lot of progress.
ReplyDeleteI am also using Google Chrome where the puzzle pieces didn't collect.

ReplyDeleteVery very cute game!
ReplyDeleteFinally came back to do the bonus stars, it's got good replay value. Nice find!

ReplyDeleteI am quite clueless on the level, 'Head's Up'. How do I get the battery past the blue wall without trapping myself?

This was great! really enjoyed it! Wish there was more. I've played it a few times now.
ReplyDeleteAny tips on how to get the bonus star from in shape in growmi
