escape from castle claymount [browser]
A sinister foe has imprisoned you in a fortress made of clay. Work together with your cellmates to solve the mysteries of this place and Escape From Castle Claymount, the latest escape the room game by Colorbomb.

Another amazing room escape game from colorbomb! TRACE was my favorite game last year, so I was really excited to see this update. I wonder how many people it took to make this. So many quality improvements: the claymation, the miniature set pieces, the storytelling. Stuff like this give me hope for the future of post-Flash browser games.
I had no problem observing the relative clock hand speeds. Then entering the values as they relate to the black value given. However I am stumped rerouting the tree root / branches. It accepted the first color's code, but refuses every other route now. It can't start at the bottom as I tried them all. Can anyone explain the logic? I expect a left turn is involved.
For the tree root puzzle, you need to use a previous bit of puzzle logic - what else used arrows and circles? This will get the arrow turned to the right place.
Is there a coding bug? The arrows in the chest are the correct orientation as per the walkthrough, but no clicking sounds are heard, and the chest won't open. What's going on?
The chest also didn't work for me at first, but after some testing I believe I've found the bug:
The game only thinks you've seen the relevant clue (the arrow glyph test paper) if you zoom out from the paper specifically by clicking on the blue back arrow. If you zoom out by clicking elsewhere (e.g. on the paper itself) the game thinks you've never seen the test paper at all.
I'll try sending a bug report to the developer about this, but in the meantime this should (hopefully) allow you to continue.

Goose egg . . . Do you have the goose "hat" yet? That gives you the number to add to the egg "face."
Which gives me the opportunity to point out that the way GOOSE and EGG are shown it reads "663 + 35006." Or 35669. I was sure this number went somewhere, but apparently not. Also, "goose egg" is a synonym for zero.
Game seems to have broken for me after solving the goose egg puzzle. After getting the item from the box, there's no arrow or anything to back out of the screen. Anyone else run into this and find a fix?

Fun, great visuals. The clues were mostly reasonable, but a couple seemed strained. The dialogs with the three characters were hard to understand, though they didn't seem to matter to the game. Ultimate resolution was not very satisfying. Overall, I love the concept, but the game design isn't equal to it.
It is a perfect escape game, I really enjoyed it! And nice artwork! For me the tree puzzle was the hardest (but after a while it became suspicious that you can choose other starting points besides the base of the tree...), but every puzzle was solvable.
The list of long games is long: The Talos Principle, Quern, Riven, The Witness, Rime, Call of the Sea, Myst & variations of it. I just finished another one called Obduction. This was a simple short game & I wish it was a bit longer.
About the clock: The hidden secrets are functions of the number of the black hand. You just get some examples and their results as presented by the colored hands. In the relevant lock, you have some number (different from the numbers on the clock) already present in the black box, so you use these functions to derive the other numbers.

Cute and creative, as usual. I love the kind of games where I don't need to get hints because I know everything is logical and well-made enough to figure it out.
it is not too long (~5 hrs). its main strengths are the breathtaking setting and the bosses, all accomplished with minimal controls and nonverbal communication. but its mechanics are not as challenging or breathtaking as you would find in a pure puzzler like parabox.
Loved everything about this game! The story, the puzzles, the claymation were all so well done, rather unique, and fun. I also ran into the bug regarding how one backs out of the arrow glyphs clue, so thanks @Anonymous 1 December 2023 at 20:06! Looking forward to more like this. Thanks Colorbomb and Bart!
A masterpiece. This creator really clicks with me. Titillating without ever being frustrating. Took my time looking at the clues and finished in just over an hour with no hints. Love it so much. Small bug found: the princess didn't have a "happy" mode after giving her the telescope. Also I assumed you'd need to find a source for a flame, but that wasn't necessary. No biggie.
Nice game - riddles are not easy but all are logical and can reasonably be solved with some thinking (the "circle trick" added in the tree puzzle made me search for a while...) I had a bug, though : after "opening" the bottle using the right tool (that part was strange but trying with hands clearly shows what you need), I found myself stuck with the bottle in my hands (that is, on the screen). It was impossible to put it back in the inventory, and placing it where one is supposed to did not work. I had to quit and reload the game.... Apart from that, it's a perfect escape game.
I finished this game a few times, and two recent ones I notice that the game is bugged. After unlocking the cell door and various other tasks, the only hint displayed regards the key nonetheless. Also, the code doesn't seem to be 328 anymore, or maybe I still need to find the object to put on the goose's head for the code to be activated proper.

The walkthrough was 34 minutes long. It would have taken me two hours plus. No way an escape game should be that long.

Tree: each instruction is straight across but the arrow may twist.
Can anyone give a hint on the glyphs?

Goose Egg spoiler . . . As I recall, you use the same 3 numbers (9,5,7) in both "equations." Ergo, 9x5x7+9+5+7.

Spoiler on "bug" just mentioned: there's something else to be taken that is easily overseen. Once found, you can continue.

Others are 1/2 black, black+2, black*2.
Answers are related to 36 black.
BTW has anyone played cocoon yet? How long is it?
