stars align [browser]
Align all the magical blocks as a lizard wizard with the power to cast a summoning spell to pull blocks towards you in the 15 levels of the puzzle game Stars Align created by Cassowary for the 'summoning' themed Ludum Dare 55 game jam.
The controls are bad, almost to the point of being broken. To answer the questions immediately above, you can do a turn in place by tapping a direction key *very* briefly. Or also, you can buffer the turn input while you're still moving, which may be a little easier.
Figuring that out turned the first level from apparently impossible to trivial, and is kind of a serious problem.
Fantastic game. Took a while to finish but very satisfying when you solve some of the later puzzles.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand when I can turn 90ยบ without also moving a square over. Sometimes I can, and sometimes I can't...
ReplyDeleteSame with a 180 turn. Sometimes you can walk into a wall and then turn away from it, and sometimes it moves one square away from it. ???
