Yes, my 21st mobile game is out today, and it's another colour puzzle!
After YELLOW, RED, BLACK, BLUE, GREEN, PINK and ORANGE here's PURPLE!
If you are familiar with my colour puzzles, you know the drill: can you make the screen purple in each of the 50 levels?
Click your favourite app store below to download the free game right NOW:
Please spread the word about my new game and leave a rating/review in the app stores, you know I will reply!
Enjoy PURPLE!
21st :)
ReplyDeleteAh yes indeed, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteReview done on Google Play Store!! Delightful as always =)
ReplyDeleteFun game.
ReplyDeleteBut I managed to eccounter a bug In a level 12th (or 13th) where you could reuse the purpled out letters
When is the browser version coming out?
ReplyDelete@Stacey Thank you so much =)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Thanks for your email! I don't consider it a bug, in one of the later levels the puzzle is also to find the correct sequences of words, making you start over if you did it wrong.
There are no hints available for me
ReplyDeleteFor the hints you need a data connection and ad consent. Ad consent is asked the first time you launch the app, maybe you clicked it away. But you can still give consent via the configuration menu (gear button in the title screen).
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like ads but still want hints, you can buy the in-app.
Hi, thks for game. sorry, problem in 19 level. Was?
ReplyDeleteFor level 19: P_ _ 19 _ _
ReplyDeleteFirst _ is U
Second _ is R
19 is S (alphabetical order)
Third _ is T following S
Fourth _ is U following T
Just spell Purple out.
I'm sorry... didn't understand. Number = equal tap?(( how letters insert. Thanks😊
DeleteLetters are: PURSTU
DeleteON top there are the letters L and E. Just spell Purple with these letters.
As always I'm enjoying your games Bart, but I'm curious if you intended to have ALL sound be muted when selecting to mute the music.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like a change from your previous games and at least for me detracts from the experience, as I lose all audio feedback telling me I'm clicking something unless I listen to the music continually.
Any way, thank you again for sharing your talents with us and I hope its successful for you!
Amazing game but I got stuck at level 2, can’t move anything and the hint seems to be telling me to, is there something I’m missing?
ReplyDeleteLoving it, so far! I'm up to Level 14. Cheers for making a game that's MY favorite color!!! :D 🟪🟣💜
ReplyDeleteFinished all 50. I hope you made lots of money off of all the ads I clicked.
ReplyDeleteNifty! Got weirdly stymied on level 19, and needed the first two hints, but got the rest of them with a bit of persistence. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteSo, what about those of us who want/need hints, are intelligent enough not to appreciate ads (and, in fact, find some ads offensive), and are too poor to afford to buy the app? I'm fairly certain that today is too soon for anyone to have posted a full YouTube walkthrough.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out 21 for the life of me and the hint didn't feel helpful, am I crazy ha
ReplyDeleteLevel 19: Think about the alphabet. You see a button with number 19, and 3 positions before that is a button with a P. P is the 16th letter in the alphabet.
ReplyDeleteSo the that line of buttons represents P Q R S T U. Now, what word would you have to spell to pass the level? Press the letters of that word in order...
Bart! You should be ashamed of yourself, releasing this on a school night! It’s 2:30am and I can’t quit until I beat it all!
ReplyDeletelove it love it love it!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad i'm not the only one who got stuck on level 19... i am ashamed i had to use all of the hints.
Thank you so much Bart! When is the next one out then? :D
For level 21: it wouldn't be a puzzle if you just had to slide each one like in level 2 ;) Maybe you should try to do the two things at the same time... (that is what the + sign in the hint suggests)
ReplyDeleteI love that it's a game I can't feel guilty for cheating in, CUZ the add rev goes to a guy who's blog I've been checking just about daily for..... sheeeeet, has it been 20 years? It seems that long, 15 at least. Wonder what happened to that minoto-games guy, the ponycorn girl (she must be an adult now)......... thank;s for keeping it up so long.
ReplyDeleteI am half way through and loving it. Thank you for your amazing games. I can't afford to pay, but very happy to watch as many ads as I need to.
ReplyDeleteI'm betting that Brown will be the next game :)
ReplyDeleteI needed hints for level 19 as well. Otherwise this color game is great as always! :-)
ReplyDeleteI just finished the game an hour ago at 11:20 pm and it was really fun. I’m planning on uploading my video on it to my YouTube channel later today. I did need to use hints for a few levels, but that’s why they’re there. Something else I noticed while I was playing the game is levels 6 & 45 were inspired by my favorite puzzlescript game Paint Everything Everywhere (https://www.puzzlescript.net/play.html?p=6a412035f6f1999cc773ddcb071de6e6) and levels, 21 & 46 were inspired by that one lock picking game with the same mechanics that Bart shared on this site a while ago but I’m currently blanking on the name of it.
ReplyDeleteAnother great game! Finished!
ReplyDeleteVery fun. Thanks, Bart! You had me wishing for an "undo last move" button a few times...
ReplyDeleteI remembered the name of the game levels 21 & 46 in purple were likely inspired by. It’s called slide to unlock: https://www.bontegames.com/2023/05/slide-to-unlock-mobile.html?m=1
ReplyDeleteGreat fun. There were a couple of levels I know I would never have solved without hints, and 48 was tough until suddenly it wasn't. Thanks for another stellar game.
ReplyDeleteHi Bart, another great puzzle, thank you!
ReplyDeleteJust noticed on level 22, the reset button is placed too low on my screen, can only just see the top of it. other puzzles with reset were fine.
Cheers!
Just an update - resetting the game fixed the reset position.
ReplyDeleteNice game,
ReplyDeleteI specially like the levels that where Sokoban with switching holes / grates
I really hated the levels where you had to use to fingers in sync. (can't imagine that could ever translate to a browser/mouse game.) I had to set my phone on a flat surface and turn it at an angle where I could complete the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteIt would also be nice to be able to undo the last move when pushing blocks around.
