hollow floor [browser]
Hollow Floor Demo is a demo for an upcoming exploration-based metroidvania style platformer by Amidos. Control your character with the arrow keys and use the X-key later on when you discover new possibilities.
Not bad, I found some of the levels a bit twitchy, but they're probably OK for actually-coordinated people. Finished the demo, 70 deaths, about 40 minutes, all the rooms and coins. As always, I like that it auto-saves progress, so rage-quitting (more like mild-frustration-quitting, really) doesn't penalize you (me) too much.
Sorry, mis-described it. Anonymous@12:37, it is below and to the left of the blue room, from there you can go through the wall at the right side of that space, through the opening above the spikes. The earlier comment said it was above the vine, that's not right.
This is a great game, I cannot wait to play the full version! First the lack of jumping ability was a bit bothering, but once I got the hoover boots (reachable early enough) it became really fun!
Just a lot of dying from basic movement and not really fun for me
ReplyDeleteI WANT MORE! Yes, a lot of dying at first, but once I got the "hover boots," I was all over the place. I need to do more exploring and soon!
ReplyDeleteHow do you use the hover boots? Nothing I press does anything.
ReplyDeleteI liked it! Try holding the key x.
ReplyDeleteHow far to get the hover boots? As it is right now its punishing just to go to the next screen, and not in a fun way, for me.
ReplyDeleteThis was great. Looking forward to the full version.
